Seth Ember (Aaron Eckhart) is a scientist gifted by the rare ability to exorcise the minds of possessed people. When he has been assigned the case of a deeply tormented teenager, Dr. Ember is shocked finding that the boy is possessed by the same evil spirit which killed his beloved wife and son.
Dr. Ember does anything to save the young boy’s life and destroy the demon before the world is put in danger by its ferocity. Succeed also means redeeming himself and finally beginning to live again.
