FANNY’S JOURNEY
2016 / DRAMA
Based on a true story, the film is about the story of Fanny, a 13-year-old Jewish girl. In 1943, Fanny and her younger sisters were sent from their home in France to an Italian foster home for Jewish children, during the occupation by the Germans. There she met other boys and girls and together, when the Nazi raids intensified and worsened, they fled trying to reach the Swiss border to freedom.
An exciting journey about friendship and freedom narrated through the eyes of the children. Young spectators – their peers – will deeply understand the drama of the war and of the racial persecution.
