The story of Ella and John is the story of their escape from doctors and from grown up children. John is muddle-headed but strong, Ella is battered but lucid. They treat themselves an adventurous American road trip, from Massachusetts to Key West, on their old motor home. Mixing funny moments with pure terror, Ella and John walk down memory lane of their passionate marriage is full of surprising revelations right up to the very end.
