Jan Vokes (Toni Collette) works as a cleaner and bartender in a small town in Wales. With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces his neighbors to cut their poor earnings to breed and raise Dream Alliance, a competition horse, hoping to compete with the racing elite.
Despite moments of great difficulty, in which Jan fights with love to support the horse to which she is deeply attached, the passion and commitment of the group are rewarded when Dream begins to climb the rankings with grit and determination, starting to run in the most important competitions in which he shows his greatness as a champion. A film full of hope that invites you to pursue your dreams even when they seem unattainable.
