The first two chapters were a big success, with over $370 million grossed at box office worldwide. Gerard Butler returns on the screen performing the secret service agent Mike Banning. “Angels Has Fallen” is directed this time by Ric Roman Waugh (Shot Caller), and this third film of the thrilling saga takes an unexpected turn: Banning will be on the run and hunted by the police, accused of being an enemy of the state and attempting the life of the President of the United States, performed by the Oscar winner Morgan Freeman. Banning will find at his side his father, played by Nick Nolte, new entry in the cast, helping to exonerate him. Cast includes Jada Pinkett Smith (Girls Trip), Lance Reddick (The Wire, Fringe, John Wick), Danny Huston (Stan & Ollie, Big Eyes), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) and Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Syriana).
